Thank you for carrying out the upcoming price collection for us! With these instructions, we would like to explain all the necessary information and steps in detail, so that you can complete the order smoothly and successfully.
Your task: Price collection in the supermarket
Your task is to record the prices of certain items in the following, specified supermarket:
You can find the address(es) of your survey market(s) in your order email.

In addition, we need a photo of each item, in which the price tag and all the information on it are clearly legible.
We would like to point out that our client has changed the number of items. The final number of items can be found in the pricecatch app survey list. We ask for your understanding that the remuneration has been adjusted accordingly.

During this covert survey, you will enter the market as a normal customer without identifying yourself as a GKL employee.

Details on the survey process in the market

Before driving to the market, check the login to the pricecatch app and open the item list to familiarize yourself with the items you are looking for.

It is best to leave your browser open while driving to the market (you can simply minimize the browser). This way, you do not have to reload the app at the survey location and log in again. There may be problems with this if the internet connection in the market is poor.

During this covert survey, you will enter the market as a normal customer without identifying yourself as a GKL employee.

Then search for the items on the list, record the price of the items and, if necessary, set a corresponding indicator such as "Aktion" or "Billiger".

"Billiger" should be set if the price has been permanently reduced

"Aktion" should be set if the price has been reduced for a short time (e.g. advertising campaign).

In both cases, please also note the so-called "crossed-out price", if available, in the "Anmerkungen hinzufügen" field. The crossed-out price is the price that the item has outside of the promotional period or had before the price reduction. This price is often shown crossed out on the shelf price tag.

Make sure to back up prices and photos during and after the survey in case of technical problems and also make sure that the upload buttons at the beginning of the list always show a green tick. If the buttons show a yellow upload symbol, click on it to submit prices and photos. Be sure to also read the "The pricecatch App", "App Test Before Starting the Survey" and "Troubleshooting Technical Difficulties" sections of this email.

App test before starting the survey
Before you start the price collection, it is imperative that you check the functionality of the Pricecatch app. To do this, please proceed as follows:

Open the above link to the pricecatch app in your smartphone browser.

Log in with your access data.

Make sure you can see your survey in the app.

Troubleshooting technical difficulties
Important: Make regular backups of your recorded data during and after the survey. If you have problems with the Pricecatch app, please try the following solutions:
Problem: The survey is not displayed or the login fails.
Solution 1:
Restart your smartphone.
Solution 2:

Clear the cache, cookies and saved website data in your browser. If you don't know how to do this, you can find instructions on the internet. Simply enter "[name of your browser] clear cache cookies website data" in Google.

Restart your smartphone.

Call up the Pricecatch app again. Important: Please note that survey data that has not been saved can be lost when deleting the browser data.

Important: This link is only intended for emergencies. Please use the regular link again for your next survey.
Solution 4:

Install a new browser on your smartphone (e.g. Opera, Firefox or Microsoft Edge). You can find these browsers in the App Store or Playstore.

Open the Pricecatch app (with the regular link or the emergency link) in the newly installed browser.
Problem: Uploading photos is not working.
Solution 1:
Check your internet connection. Make sure you have a stable WiFi connection or a mobile data connection with sufficient speed. Important: Please activate either WiFi or mobile data, not both at the same time.
Solution 2:
Restart your smartphone.
If the problem persists:

Record the prices of the items in the app, even if you cannot upload the photos.

Then send us the photos via WeTransfer: https://gkl-mm.wetransfer.com/
Problem: After restarting the app, the recorded data has been lost.
Solution:
To avoid data loss, please make regular backups of your recorded prices and photos. Keep these backups until you have received credit for the order.
Payment of the order
Please note that payment via bank transfer to the account you specified in the GKL web app after a processing time of up to 4 weeks after submitting the survey results via the pricecatch app can only be made if the following conditions are met:

All prices and requested photos were recorded at the correct location in the specified period and successfully transmitted before the end of the survey period.

You have stored all the data necessary for billing in your profile in the GKL web app, i.e. bank details, tax number or ID, signature on the current work contract.

You have signed the billing documents service voucher and individual order for this order in the GKL web app. You can find these documents directly in the order.

Orders without usable results, for which no organizational or technical problems were sufficiently communicated by you in advance of the survey, cannot be remunerated.
